i have short in csty/clock circuit. i cannot find what is pulling the battery down. this circuit is showing over 12 volts pulling from it.
Dude, you have me confused. Where are you located?
Just for a quick reference of electrical facts.
If you have a short circuit you should see ZERO volts across it (or lower than source voltage, on the other hand you will read source voltage across an open circuit.
Voltage does not kill a battery drawing AMPs does. So what do you mean pulling over 12 volts from it?
i have short in my courtsey clock circuit cannot find showing 12 volts any suggestions
My, are we not a little "testy" the Vette owner needs a little help. There are times when a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing.
85 vettes had a problem with the courtsey light located on the right sunvisor. It is called a vanity mirror light. The circuit number is 150, a black wire, and circuit 39 a pink and black wire. Check that area first. Have you had any fuses blow?
