C4 Electronic A/C Problem
Hello to all,
I originally posted this on the general discussion page but figured it would be better served in this TECH section. My '90, which i've owned for the past 10 years has only 10K original miles and last evening I took it out for a spin around and encountered a problem. With the colder temps here, I tried to turn up the temp set to get some heat but noticed that repeated hits to the "temp set" button doesn't raise the temp read....it just sits at 60F and blows cold. The fan speed works but the temp set won't raise temp at all. It goes between the 60F setting and the outside temp read and thats all. Is there anything that someone may suggest that may be causing this? I love the car but honestly the little quirks keep me guessing...first the BOSE, then the typical "infl. rest" lite and now this.......getting frustrated with one step forward and 2 steps back. Appreciate hearing any tech help on what's going on..........thanks in advance to all..........90Vettfan

When you attempt to change the temp,is it still on auto or manual setting?
Try pressing the manual button and then see if the temps will raise for you.Its been a while since I had the Vette but remember it sometimes not changing temps when set on automatic.
