Anyone know if this is a do it yourself kit?? I just received it from midamerica today with NO instructions??? No ideas ??? I do see the bolts in question that ned to be swaped??? anyone help??
Pretty straight forward swap. I believe all you need is a floor jack to place under the end of the spring to take the tension off....then swap the two bolts.
You may want to take some measurements prior to the bolt R&R so you can monitor your height adjustments.
It took me maybe 1hr to do both sides but I jacked the frame and removed the rear wheel before jacking the spring tip to swap bolts.
Measure ride height at each rear mid wheel well point, measure the bolt length at each wheel and set the new bolt lengths to lower and level ride height.
Drive the car to allow the suspension to settle and check the ride height. Adjust till your are satisfied.
Soon after lowering the rear, get a 4-wheel alignment.
ok thx guys...so basically remove the rear wheels and wit hte longer bolts I will be letting down the rear knuck more?? what location are you guys jacking to let off the tension??? I assume you took the wheels off and let the car down on jack stands and then jacked up the spring??

I did not jack the car up multiple times I just put a wood block on my floor jack and lifted the spring. Then I pulled the tire for more clearance so I could to clean up the suspension while I was down there. This is a simple job and should take less than an hour. The front is more time consuming.
