I just received it from Corv. Cent. in a nice new plastic bag with a part # and no instructions. It seems to have even spacing along the length of it, but I do not know where or how to fit it...can some one pl. advise with this..? TIA
Don't feel bad. I got one a few months ago and was unable (unwilling) to put sufficient torque on the big bolt head on the end of the master cylinder to get the thing apart. The part's still in the bag, where it will probably stay on the shelf with the other Vette parts I've purchased but not installed through the years.
It all sounds good in the catalog, but it's a different story when I get around to actually putting a wrench, etc. to the car. I guess I'm just chicken.

You have to undo the large nut on the front of the secondary cylinder of your m/c. There's a weak spring that comes out, then you'll need a bent pick to pull the combination valve out. Then you need circlip/snapring pliers to get the old spring out and new one in.

You are in luck as I have the DRM instructions for the install.
