All I want to know is the distance between bolts(ie spacing)of rear suspension control bars where they attach to the body.Easy if you have a C4 not so easy if you havn't.I'm installing C4 suspension onto a C1.Thanks.

Are you asking about the spindle control rods? If so they bolt into the spindle control rod bracket and the bracket bolts to the frame. I'll scan the rear suspension diagram.
So do you need the vertical measurement of the "spindle control rod" 14 and 18 mount into Spindle control rod bracket15, or the spacing of the three holes for the control rod bracket15, or something totally different?
I can measure the vertical spacing on the control rods if that is what you need.

Thanks Mike,
I want distance apart of control rods where they bolt into control rod bracket ie bolt centres.I havn't got bracket so need this measurement to make up a custom bracket.Cheers Kev.

From the top of the top bolt head to the top of the bottom bolt head = approximately 4.15"/ or 105mm. My methodology was top to top measurement should equal the distance between centers.
Hopefully someone else will chime in with more precise measurements.
I would buy the bracket, however, from your spelling I gather you are not in a location conducive to the procurement of inexpensive C4 parts!
Good luck!

That's just what I want Mike, now I can spend tomorrow doing something useful in the workshop !C4's are not rare here in England but most are now in hibernation until the spring. Thanks for the trouble.Kev.
The correct bolt spacing and/or bracket installed height won't necessarily be the same for the C1 and the C4 because the CG height to wheelbase ratio is probably different. I would design the link angles needed for the C1. I'll post an equation to help you if you need it.
A link angle setup that gives a little rear rise on foward acceleration is usually the most fun on the street. Drag cars can use even more. If it is a track car where foward bite isn't the issue, then set it up neutral so rear braking doesn't yank the force off the rear tires. As long as you are making them, adjustment holes in the brackets would be nice. It's always fun to experiment.
