Default 1988 17" wheels

I have an '88 with the wrong wheels on it. It has what I believe are 1985 16" wheels. The car is a Z52. Well, I just happened to hit a local flea market and a very nice couple had a set of the correct 17" wheels with 50% gsc's on them for $500. Their a little dinged up but just normal wear and tear. Is this a good price. I searched the parts for sale but it looks like search is not working. Thanks

I guess that's a decent deal. I would find out how old those tires are before forking over any money. They might be dry rotted. You can pick up a brand new set of repro wheels and decent new tires for around $800-900 so keep that in mind.

That's not a bad deal.

88 17" wheels are worthless. I had a set I couldn't get $200 for. The GSC's are prolly old and dry rotted. I bet there at least 10 years old. check the DOT date code on the tire. offer him much less.
