Default 1989 Corvette ECM Location

Does anyone know where the Electronic Control Module is on this car (1989 )and the procedure to remove it. The Service Manual only say it is beneath the passenger side Kick panel. What Kick panel???? Any help would be appreciated. I would hate to bring it to a dealer for ECM replacement. I wouldn't think it would be that hard to replace it.

i thnk our interiors are the same, i have 86 and its under the pass side dash. i was just there today, just remover the lower black plastic panel and lay on your back and look up under the dash and there it is seating vertical with 2 screws holding it in place. some say you have to remove the carpeted hish panel, but you don't. if you have a bad back, remove the 4, 14mm bolts holding the seat in and then you lay nice and flat on your back on the carpet, but its not nessary.
