Default DELTEQ w/MSD Shift light problem

I am using this MSD shift light. http://www.msdignition.com/rpm_8.htm
and the DELTEQ in my 93. The shift light is coming on around 1000rpm too soon
The folowing has been done. Tach filter bypassed, for about 7 years already.
DELTEQ already works fine, and worked fine before shift light.
Shift light was on this car before with MSD ignition prior to DELTEQ, worked fine.
I hooked the shift light up to the power/ground and tach output at Ignition Module of the DELTEQ. Page 15 http://www.delteq.com/Manual_r3.pdf
So any suggestions, please ?
Also, Tach within the car, factory, works fine.

I called Delteq this week about adding a shift light and they stated i could tap directly off the Delteq system with a connector they where suposed to mail me, hasn't shown up yet. Apparently you can tap directly off one Ingnition modules unused pins, page 18 fig. 11,. They didn't tell what pin but are suposed to include a diagram of what pin to connect to with the connector they are sending.

I am tapping off of Pin B on ignition module where it is Ground/Tach output/Power Input. I think I will just cut it for now, email Pete. I have to get to the trac right now.
If you get this connector, can you send me data.

I will send you the data as soon as I get it but it will be X-mass before I get the shift light so you will probably be able to test it before me. Do me a favor and PM if you find a solution if you would.

Okay. I am going to email Pete and MSD again. MSD needs to let me know what the tach signal is, as Pete asked. I could just tap into the ECM.

Steve,
I don't know you can tap into the ECM. THe F-body ECM has a tach output on pin on A-13 http://shbox.com/1/1995_pcm4.jpg

Now looking at my helms book, I don't see A13 used on the Corvette ECM. Now the signal may still be on A13 and just not used because I have used an 95 F-body ECM before and it did work.

Steve,
I totaly missed the fact you have a 93 so ignore the refernces as they are for a 94/95 ECM. You may actualy be better off here the 93 Corvette may have a tach putput from the ECM.

Edit:
I just looked at my corvette fuel injection book and don't see the signal on the 92/93 ECM either. This is a fairly good biik but check the factory maual to be sure.
