I need rubbers
The Goodyear GS-C's on my ride are almost condom thin,
and need to be replaced. Car and Driver this month has a tire
test and the Goodyear F1's topped the list. Has anyone here had
experience with them?

IMO they will be a significant improvement over the GS-Cs, which I never cared for on my 95 (I replaced them with Firestone Firehawks which were a big improvement but are no longer available in a 285 size). I now have Kumos (sp?) which are OK, especially for the money. The F1 Supercar tires on my Z06 are excellent.
