Default Summer Project Build (94 LT1)

First thanks to CFI-EFI, Corvette Kid SC, Zix, R94 LT 1, and the many otrs that have come to my aid and responded to my posts over the spring/summer.

Here is what I have done, It is a 1994 Auto, daily driver, will run a few passes on the 1/8th.
Hotcam
Cloyes double roller timing gear set
1.6 Crane Gold Race roller rockers
EM long tube headers (coated inside and out)
CSR electric water pump
stock LT1 aluminum heads ported & polished
Comp Cams (26915) Beehive valve springs/retainers
3 angle valve job
Cut-back valves
ATI SFI rated balancer
MSD Superconductor plug wires (red)
Upgraded to 95 timinig cover and vented optispark
EGR deleted
Air Injection deleted

Things to do-
High flow cats (I could use some advice here)
New injectors
pcmforless tune (I need to contact them yet)
I will stay with the stock exhaust at least for now.
I painted the block red with ceramic high temp paint, powdercoated the PCM case (red), throttle body (red),intake manifold (black), hermostat housing (red), water pump housing (black), alternator/ac compressor bracket (red) etc.

What kind of hp do you folks think I can expect?
I have pics of the engine and head porting to post if I can ever figure out how to do it.
Have a great Thanksgiving day, I hope you can all be with your family, as many of our soldiers, sailors, marines, and airmen will not be, let's keep them in our thoughts.

Your build is very close to mine.. I did FMS injectors and EM LT headers w/hi-flow cats (random tech).

I have yet to get a good tune , but if you have a way to, get it done locally, while on the dyno (or a good data-logger)

My guess? 360-370 RWHP once you are done

Glad to hear it has all come together. Looking forward to those pics, it sounds sharp! Also will be anxious to see your results. I'm guessing in the 340 to 360 RWHP range w/ tuning, very respectable! Re/ the cats, is it an auto or 6 speed? This may make a difference in how you're able to place them. The stock exhaust sounds real good with mods and headers, doesn't it? I'd like to hear it with the resonator removed, I never did that before switching to my Power Effects system. It's not really a bad system either way and isn't hurting you much. Oh, and the Dynomax cats are very reasonable and flow as well as the RTs from what folks here have stated.

With similar mods as you have Nathan had around 345 RWHP.

Assuming your porting job is as good as his then subtract some for AT and some for stock exhaust, maybe 320 RWHP.

Corvette Kid NC,
You asked if it is auto or 6 speed, the answer is auto.
I hope I am not displying how stupid I am, but I don't remember seeing a resonator on my 94 last January when I had to replace the transmission.
I have been wanting to post pics in my gallery on the forum, but I need to delete some to have space, then I was going to post a link for you guys.
There has been issues with the gallery due to software that the forum dudes are going to fix. As soon as that is done I will be able to get those pics posted.

About the porting, I did it myself and it was a job I would rather not do again. I ported both exhaust and intake ports, and polished them all to a mirror finish. There is some difference of opinion on smoothing out the intake ports to the degree that did, but we will have to wait and see what the Dyno shows. I hope I didn't make a mistake by doing that

I see a wide range of hp estimates, thanks to all that have replied.

Keep us updated. I'm anxious to see the dyno results.

Best of luck.

Try this link for the pics of the engine/heads I have been promising.
I hope this works.
