The clutch is trashed and so is the flywheel. I have to stay with a steel flywheel due to class restrictions for NCCC racing. Where's the best place to get one quick? It's a 94 LT-1 six speed.
Checkout e-bay. I won a bid 2 years ago for a new dual mass and lt4 clutch with release bearing for $390! Hopefully you'll find a guy that bought a crate engine with clutch and flywheel and he doesn't want the OEM flywheel and clutch. That was my deal.
I have a complete clutch set-up with DMFW that came out of a '96 take apart car. I actually got the clutch with a complete conversion package, but the owner wanted an aftermarket clutch and aluminum flywheel. The car supposedly had 18K when trans was removed.
PM me if interested. Pics available upon request.

Don't know what the difference is but the catalogs I have been looking at all show different part numbers for early C4's.
When I have ordered aftermarket clutches, they have used the same P/N. Nonetheless, this clutch package came off a '96 when I had purchased a complete ZF conversion, yet went aftermarket on the clutch assy.
There is a difference between the L98 and LT1 dual mass flywheels. It all has to do with balancing. LT1s had a balance problem at the factory and they used the flywheel to balance them up.
