1981-95 Diacom Analysis Software Package
Has anybody heard anything about this diagnostic system? I found it on the Ecklers website.
I am in market for a hand held (or laptop) diagnosis system so I can pull all of the trouble codes and fix whatever is wrong.
Any suggestions?

diacom works and it works well - but it id DOS only - no GUI which i find very cool in some cheaper software packages.
EASE has a diag program for the C4 and i'm pretty sure there package is GUI
all the numbers changing back and forth can get confusing - and if you have a GUI program, it may have actual "digital" guages instead of just numerics!
it IS an expensive program - i bought mine for like $150 off ebay - check there before you buy it at ecklers or some other place - as i think it's at least twice that price new - and for the "logging" version diacom + it's around $500 i think
this question is probably better suited for C4 scan and tune!

You will be far better served by going with a different program. There have been so many improvements since the old days of diacom that it isn't funny.
EASE and TTS Datamaster are two that come to mind quick.
