Saw a set of rims that I am thinking of purchasing.... 18X9.5 front and 18X11 in the rear.... the offset for both the front and back are 53mm.... on my 93 will that offset make the wheels stick out or tuck in... I think the offset on the sawblades are 56mm in the front and 50mm for the rear (I think, those numbers may be reversed)...... any feedback will be helpful....
The fronts will sit the same as you're not going to notice a 3mm difference. In the back the 18x11 will sit just fine. I have Z06 wheels that are 18x10.5" w/ 58mm offset and they fit great.
By the way your stock sawblades have a 56mm offset front and rear.
Thanks for the response Admiral, I was thinking about the offset for the 5 Spoke rims with the GS offset....
One other question if you can help... is a 295/35/18 tire about the same width as a 315/35/17 tire? Will at 295/35/18 tire "fill out" the 18X11 rim?
Well a 295 tire is about 20mm narrower than a 315 so you will be able to tell the difference. However, a 295/35/18 tire will fit fine on a 18x11" wheel. You can also use a 305/30/18 tire if you wanted to.
