Anyone using a MSD coil with a L98

if your using an MSD coil in a L98 is your stock tach off??? Mine is, just wondering if this is normal with a high output coil....thanks

I use one on the 89. If you install the wrong bushing (the little round piece with the spring on it) under it your tach reading will be a little wacky.

Im using the MSD cap, rotor, and coil, as well as MSD 6AL, and i noticed that RPMS couldnt be right, so i put in the 3000 RPM rev limiter chip and revved it up, and sure enough it limited the rev when the tack showed 4500 RPMS.....i dont know what went wrong.....
