Default Tick...Tick...Ticking

The last few times iv'e taken the 86 out i have heard a faint ticking sound coming from the pass side rear wheel area, this happens when starting from a stop light or any standing start. I'm going to guess a wheel bearing or u-joint(since i don't know). Has anybody else had this noise, if so please let me know so i can add it to my things to do list this spring,...thanks,...joe

I have an 86. I replaced the rear hub bearing in mine. Mine made that clicking noise.

if you jack it up and turn the wheel you can tell where its coming from. It could be runout from the rotor.

Possibly just rusty axle splines that need cleaning with a wire brush. My GS had that problem once. No new bearings or U-joints needed at all.
