Default Injectors

Recently did a search on injectors that would work for a mildly modded motor as well as have significant growth potential.

Do LS1 28 lb injectors really act as 24 lbers at stock L-98 fuel pressures?

I've always heard bumping the pressure is the way to go. When running LS1 injectors with reduced pressure, would that adversely effect performance?

The reason I want to go this route is I believe my factory injectors are crap and need to be replaced. In the near future I plan on some significant engine mods. Would like to buy as few sets of injectors as possible. It would be nice if the LS1's would work at a reduced performance level for awhile until upgrades are done.

All replies appreciated!

Be careful with LS1 injectors. I don't reccopmend them because there are like 3 different sizes and they are all usually sold as 28's

Thanks for the reply

What do you mean by three different sizes? Height?

no, some are 26, 28 and I think theres something like a 32 in the Z06.. not positive on that though.. i'm just going by what the PCM files say, not what everyone else does.
