I've seen that kit, but don't know the source.

I've seen that kit before, but I can't recall who makes it. I don't believe it's a Shinoda kit.

BTW, someone else made a post recently inquiring about the same kit.

A few years ago, I counted about 25, but it's hard to track.

Agreed. Having read Larry's history, before and after GM, I'm quite certain that he did ONE kit. It did poorly in the marketplace due to the total install costs. Then, like now, most owners spent their $$ on performance, despite having Mears' name added.

If its not Shinoda, what do you think it might be? It has very similar lines.
It doesn't have a trunk, it has two batteries one is for the sound system.
Aliminium exhaust and chromed out engine. Cheers Brian.

Somebody here had one wayyyyyy back in the day (early 2000s?). I tried searching, but couldn't find anything. Its tough to find it in the old threads since all the pics from that era are gone. I know I'll remember the name of the kit when I hear it.

Hi Jeff I have just found some original paperwork from when I had it shipped from the States to Dubai in 2011…..it says it is a rare "KAMINARI" body kit designed by Larry Shinoda, does that ring any bells?

Still perplexed.. not saying it is not true, but I only ever knew and saw that other Shinoda kit that has been posted.

Maybe because Shinoda just designed it and it was marketed at Kaminari

Kaminari was Peter Brock

Default Kaminari Kit

The President of Kaminari Mr Pete Morley has confirmed that it is their original kit, but stopped production 15 years ago and all molds destroyed!
The image is from their original brochure.

You could say it was inspired by Shinoda!
