Default C4 Lifting Adapter for Rear

Anybody tried this adapter to lift the rear of the C4? I am so sick of the ritual of raising the rear of the car that I considered this! I know there used to be one available a while ago but I couldn't find it anywhere. It would just fit into a floor jack and lift the diff.
Anyway I ordered one from http://www.corvettegadgetman.com/products3.html
Wondering if anyone has or can offer pros/cons on this? It was $40.00.

I made one of these several years ago.
It was worth the effort.

$40 sounds like a bargain.

PS You'll need a floor jack that goes really LOW to use it without having to run the car up on 2 x 10's.

Wish it would work on my car. Cat back has 2.5 pipes & they are A) too close together & B) have a strap welded under/across right there at the rear so the upright on that won't slip through under 3rd member... :-( I WAS going to make one until I got under there & looked at it.

So, two floor jacks under the shock mounts are my current method. Not the best but does the trick.

Can't use it with my aftermarket rear ypipe with crossover tube. I'm gonna head out to the garage and lift it the old fashioned way... teeter totter one side at a time.

My jack doesn't allow it to get low enough to slip under the dif without lifting the wheels up about an inch.

i lent it to a buddy before hurricane rita was supposed to hit us and he did the same thing i did...we cleaned up our garages to reduce the land missles and now we can't find a thing. not too hard to fab: a round piece to go into the jack saddle welded to a plate long enough to span the brackets plus a few inches. weld on top of that 2 pieces about 1/2" thick for the camber brackets to rest on and clear the exhaust pipes. then weld on top of those something that will lock the brackets into so they don't slide to the left or right.
