well, I don't have true eliminators, mine have a small amount of something in there, but I love 'em. They sound great on my '90.

Well, well, well, another young ram coming into the herd. All I can say is you will love em. Makes your car sound like a vette. Cheap. Get the local muffler guy to do it, paint em black, purple, pink. Your choice. Gustsy sound. One that you remembered as a kid. My experience: they don't really give you any additional zing. What they do do (no that's not something the dog just did) and again this is my experience, is the throttle response was really increased. But I did it when I went to an open box on the air system. Can't tell which did more ressponse, as I did them concurrently. As guys more sage than I can agree: best damn ...{in my case $37} I ever paid. One of the forum crew responded once, "trust me, you'll like it". I did and I do...-C4- :smash:

i took my mufflers off, never got around to replacing them with anything ! - - i did notice better throttle response, but i cut the airbox cover at the same time..............

It sounds like a airplane or older boat to me. My friend has it. I wanted staight through mufflers so I got Magnaflows. I flow just as much as he does but my car sounds lower.
