Default visor repair

I just got my sun visors back from a place called Vinyl Specialties. They did a really good job in recovering them. I have the vanity mirrors in both visors and they charged me $60.00 to cover the pair and $9.00 for shipping. That beats the heck out of $250.00 for original replacements or $170.00 for reproductions. There is an extra charge for the masonite frame if it is broken, but I think that is just $5.00 for each visor. Mine were ok so I didn’t need to go that route.

They do use a little different material then the original, but unless you are trying to build a totally original C4 who cares. They also eliminate that stupid perforated flap on the end of the visor so it’s just one solid piece.

You can email me for any contact info.

Hope this helps.

Happy Holidays!

I know the visors don't help the performance of the Vette, but I thought this post might be helpful for anyone wanting to impove the apperance of their car. It's just a more reasonable way to fix the floppy visor problem.
