Default Mass air flow sensor question.

I think that the Mass sensor is on the way out, have intermittent
34 & 36 codes. I'm going to change the power/burnoff relays, but if this fails I guess I will have to replace the Mass sensor. Mid America
sells a Micro-Tech Mass air flow sensor for $229.00. Has anybody here ever use this or should I just go for the extra $$$$ and buy
the ACDelco unit.

thank you & Merry Christmas

i just replaced mine @3 weeks ago. i went with a reman ac delco from autozone for 148.xx with tax. my pinging problem is gone now and my average mpg went from 20.1-20.3 to 23.3 steady.
i would get the ac delco one before an aftermarket one.

Are you having any other starting up or performance trouble? The fuel pump relay in my '88 was throwing a code 34, but was also giving me cold startup problems. Otherwise, ran fine. Replaced FPR and code is gone (and starts up perfectly, cold).

I think your right, if the power/burnoff relays don't workout, I will go with the OEM unit.
