Not sure about the 02 sensors. You may have a leaky or sticking injector(s) causing a rich condition on one side. Do a leakdown test on your injectors before just replacing the 02 sensor(s). You can also hear a sticking injector with a mechanics stethoscope. Listen to them at idle for a steady "tica tica tica". If one stops or pauses it's sticking.

How is a leak down test done on an injector?

You need a fuel pressure tester similar to this one.
http://www.actron.com/product_detail.php?pid=16175 You can pick one up at most auto parts stores for under $30
You put it on the shrader valve on fuel rail and start motor and check fuel pressure. Then you kill the motor and watch for a drastic drop in pressure over say a half hour. Any fast drop in pressure indicates a problem. You can leave it over night and if it drops slowly down to say 0 to 5-10 psi from the original running 39-43 psi then you have a slow leaking injector(s). Dropping to say 25 psi or so overnight is normal as long as it doesn't drop there quickly. Again, listening to injectors with a stethoscope can be a valuable tool. If an injector is sticking open intermittently while running it can cause a rich condition with the symptoms you decsribe.

I'm not saying you definetly have injector trouble but with the symptoms you described it needs to be checked.

Good luck and let us know what you find.

Pull the regulator vacuum hose and check for a gas smell.Leaky injectors are not the only way to lose pressure. What was the original pressure before leakdown?

if the fuel pressure is that low, either the FPR is toast you half the injectors are stuck open.

check the vacuum line to the FPR. If gas is present, the FPR is toast.

Well it sounds like you have maybe several leaky injectors or as others have suggested maybe that and/or a bad fpr. I believe the lt1 has stock 22lb injectors like my l98 but I'm not certain on that. I replaced mine with the new style Accel 24lbs/hr a year ago and have had great luck with them. I have read in here that some have not been so lucky with accels and prefer the ford svo injectors. I read where Accel totally re-did their injector manufacturing in recent years and they are better now. Maybe thats why mine have done well, I dunno.
There are places that rebuild the stock injectors but I've never dealt with any personally. Maybe someone will chime in.
If you smell fuel in the fpr's vacuum line then maybe it's time for a new set of injectors and an adjustable fpr. In my opinion Holley makes the best one. Then you can adjust the pressure to suit your tune.
By the way, you dont want 30 or 36 lb/hr injectors unless the lt1 calls for them or you are built for that much flow or you'll have one pig rich puppy on your hands. But check first. I may be wrong but wasn't aware of it if lt1's had that large of injectors.

Ahhh, the old loose screw in the AFPR trick. So you already have an adjustable one , eh? Well, glad the injectors are ok and your up and running. Thanks for reporting back.

Good news but next time provide more info you did not mention the AFPR in the beginning. It helps to mention any mods as we all assume it is stock unless told otherwise.
