Starter heat shield
Have been haveing trouble for several months with heat soak on my 89 roadster,replaced starter,new positive cable, everything clean, nothing worked, finally got the generals metal heat shield, pulled starter and layed under the car for 2 hours wondering how the hell this thing fits, finally, replaced starter and am wondering Who makes a wrap for the L98 starter? and do they work,any suggestions would be grately appricated. traxx1

I have a modded 66 stang with headers, and I use to have a huge problem with heat soak. I put a new starter and one of those heat sheild wraps and have not been stranded since the install.
