LT4 intake on LT1?
Can I put an Lt4 intake on my LT1? I'm thinking of buying a hot cam kit and wanted know it the intake would work without getting new heads.

Even if you could you wouldn't see any gains from just the intake.

Yes,
You can bolt the intake on and it will run. Now for the bad news, the intake runners on the LT4 intake are made to match the raised intake runners of the LT4 heads so they will not align properly and you will loose power but as I stated it will bolt up and run.

The red paint will look nice, but not a real match without the LT4 heads. Do it right.

A better way to go???
I have the same project in mind, and several recommendations from this board lead me to Lloyd Elliott as a cheaper and better way to "do" an LT1. Soon as I get my tax refund, Mr. Lloyd and I are going to do some bitness!
Good luck.
Here's the scoop. Nice guy to talk to!
