J55 brakes
How do you tell the difference from a standard caliper to a J55 Heavy Duty brake?
They look identical. I bought some J55's and they came today, but man, they look like standards brakes...
Some numbers K247-001C caliper and K332073C6 on the bracket.
Need some help. Although my RPO info does not show a J55, I am wondering if I already have the upgrade from previous owner??!!??

The pads are the same whether you have J55 or JL9 base brakes. The calipers and rotor width are different but the pads are common.

The Superior web site has pictures to compare the calipers and rotors. The J55 rotors are noticeably thicker.
