Default Interior door panels... Rebuild or replace?

My panels are starting to crack, rattle and split. Because there are some chunks out of them as well as big cracks, would it be better to buy some new/used ones or are they rebuildable? For the temporary cure, I am using some zip ties to get them to hold on. Makes my car interior look ghetto but there are no more plastic panel rattles for now.

I would replace with new if you can afford the cost. You can find them on Ebay from Wilcox for about $425 - $450.00 for a pair in your color.

You can try used, just make sure to get some good pics and buy from a reputable seller.

Good luck,
Dino

I bought a new set from Willcox vette for 390, fully carpeted. I hated to cut them for the bose speakers, but they fit excellent and the color is right. I figure you spend all your time in there (I do anyway) so it should be as nice and clean as possible.

Default Replace for sure

For what it's worth, the door panels are m next job, well after I replace the window regulators, fix electric locks and courtousy light. I've opted to replace the panels completely. Ebay is probably your best bet. Eckler's has them as well, but I believe thery're pricey. Good luck.

Bought me a brand new set from MidAmerica (I think..) my interior is rare, so I didn't have the luxury of looking just anywhere =( Trust me, if you get a brand new set, you won't be disappointed. They're a little pricey, but well worth the extra cabbage

Just make sure that the color on your carpet and seats isn't washed out too much, or else the panels won't match too well. Mine didn't seem to have that issue, but I know that black interior can turn brownish/purpleish and red can turn to a more pink color. Not fun to try to match washed and new colors =\

Also be sure to install the L brackets to ensure that the panels do not break off again!
