Default Intake manifold

I just got my AFR heads installed and torqued down, number 16 was impossible to get a torque wrench on. I have a ZZ9 cam 1.6RR's and EM headers. Should I get my intake manifold port matched. If so, how will I mark the runners on the intake to match the heads ?????

Thanks

Fred

Usual way is to do before installing heads.
Match head ports to a certain gasket say 1205 then use that gasket to make the manifold ports match.

You must be talking about pass. side at firewall. I had mine port matched, and I would say yes, but I would send it to someone to cnc it who already has it mapped out, maybe TPIS. I have afr 190 w/1204 gasket if that helps.

Have you tried agent 86 or any other members up in the great north?
If you can't find anyone up there at least it should be worth the wait sending it down here. TPIS did a great job on mine, I am sure there are other places as well I just went with a co. that I knew could make there own piece fit right.

You are probably right about sending it to TPIS. I bought everything else from them except my headers. After $5000. what's another $100 for shipping both ways.

I know the feeling a 100. at that point...... I would call them, because if you bought everything as a package (sounds like it from your response) from them I believe that should have been included, asking why not couldn't hurt, and doesn't cost anything. If not, looks like pipe gave you a good local place.
