Startup problem
1995 Corvette
Just within the last few days when I went to start my car nothing happened. No power is getting to the starter or starter solenoid yet everything on the dashboard instrument panel lights up.
After waiting about 15 minutes, the car starts up as if nothing ever happened.
The Corvette is equipped with a PASS-Key Anti-Theft system. If this is causing the problem, what is displayed when an incorrect resistor reading occurs?

Clean the contacts on the key. If that doesn't work you may have a problem with your ignition side contacts that tie to the VATS system. 15 minutes is the timeout after 3 failed start attempts with the wrong resistor key. You are obviously not reading the correct value due to dirty or faulty contacts.
