the improved hooker y-pipe
just installed hooker# 2149, got the new&improved y- pipe& it DOESNT FIT,it doesnt clear shift linkage, had to use old y-pipe, but boy it sounds good, have to send back to summit&call hooker about y-pipe.. :cheers:

Mine BARELY fits on the manual. It is touching the pan for the od portion and will probably heat the fluid too much. if the actual "Y" was about 1/2" further back it would probably be perfect.

doesnt seem they made any changes to the"new" design,expected to bolt right up after the header install, had all parts laid out&wham, had to cut stock y-pipe w/reducers (didnt have), thanx hooker.. :mad
