Anyone know if the Craftsman brake bleeding kit is any good? I got my C5 calipers and will be installing them soon. Since I have seen/read the many problems with bleeding Corvette brake systems, I want to at least make sure I have decent tools when I do the job. Thanks.
I'll take a shot at this one. I've never used Craftsman brake bleeder system but I strongly suggest you purchase a set (4) of SpeedBleeders. They take the fun out of bleeding your brakes and make it a five minute per wheel job. They are cheap and save time and last a long time. Give them a try.

Could you supply a link to the sears tool you are talking about? I have been thinking about trying one of these from Summit. http://store.summitracing.com/defaul...h.asp&N=400590 The reason being, I could use it on different vehicles as well as the vette.

That's a handy tool to have stored in the TOOL CONDO... "Mighty-Vac" (If memory serves me) makes them also. Handy for other uses like vacuum checks etc... But don't get the plastic one, you'll regret it. Get the metal unit and clean it good after contaminating it with brake fluid...
