Could anyone please instruct me how to replace this part and replace the bulbs (both of them - including one for the turn signal and the other as well) that are located in this same light housing part pictured here.
The thing pictured is an unbroken version of what is broken on my Corvette. Also both bulbs within this thing aren't functional. When I open the hood I see the wires going into this housing, but I can't just pull the wiring out to get to the bulbs (or maybe I can?)- and I don't want to break it. So I am wondering if I have to twist it, etc, to replace each of the bulbs.
Also, I am wondering if there is a way to replace this housing as well as it is cracked by removing something below it.
I'm pretty sure you'll have to remove the front bumper cover. I'm also pretty sure that the sockets twist out, try pushing them in at the same time. It's been awhile. Definitely don't force it until you really know how they come out. The owners manual should cover it. I'm sure someone will chime in here.
The housing can not be removed without removing the bumper cover, but the bulbs can be changed without removing anything. It's really not that hard to get the cover off, just a bit time consuming, and it's good to have a helper.
Ok I understand. I guess I will try looking thru the manual again. Anyone know offhand how to at least change the bulbs? Push and twist? I couldn't find anything on it right away and I looked for a while.

Twist the backside of the bulb carrier about 90 degrees counterclockwise to unseat them and then fish em out. The inner fogs have a long plastic extension you grab onto to twist em out.
You must remove at least the plastic front bumper to get to the fog housings. I don't know what else. Bumper is relatively easy to remove, but it's a pain to get all the upper bolts out. For reinstalling the bumper, I'd recommend a helper.
Haven't had to do it yet on the Corvette, but in cars in the past, the bulb holders and sockets are either all plastic or part plastic. And they connect to either metal or part plastic in the housing.
Thus, after awhile they feel at first touch as if they're glued tight. If there's any plastic there, just take it easy and twist lightly counterclockwise.
Maybe even start with just a very light twist clockwise to ease the tension on the two parts. I doubt if things are really brittle yet, but just take it easy and it should come out.
When it does, you'll look at it and feel a bit foolish for worrying about it. Better to grin, than have to curse if it breaks.
