LT4 sensor over the oil filter

LT4 sensor over the oil filter
I have the shop manual.... However I just had my harness re worked and it does not have a plug for the sensor that is above the oil filter, outside of the block. Anyone know what that one is?

Its not the Knock sensor, oil temp SW thanks.
The oil pressure switch sensor sends the signal to the guage but what does the oil pressure sensor switch which is off a Y fitting from that do?

The brown plug in the harness ,just a streight connector,that goes to the sensor above the oil filter is for the oil temp, if its not hooked up the dash will read low temp for the oil.That means you will not be able to read the oil presure most of the time.

Thanks, I have the motor in a 64 Grand Sport with Auto meter gauges. I will use that sensor then for an oil temp guage and I have the oil pressure guage hooked up to the to sensor by the fuel pressure guage. Jim Performance did the rewire for me
