I was just wondering if anyone has ever used UV Dye Leak detector for troubleshooting leaks in the fuel line? I just wanted to make sure that it wouldn't cause problems with injectors or other parts.
That's what kids are for. Put the car in storage until you can have one or two. Then wait for them to turn 4 yrs old (should be able to hold a match at that age). Point them towards the car and then slowly back away...
I have used the UV dye for other things and it works well. But for fuel - you can prime the system by turning the key on and off repeatedly (energizes the fuel pump). Then use your eyes and your nose to check for leaks at all of the fittings (Gas tank, fuel lines to rails, and then at each injector). I wouldn't mess with the dye in this situation.
