Will single sided LT-1 Camaro belt work on my 93???
Hey Guys,
I'm in the middle of lots of rain comming from this damned hurricane and my serpentine belt snapped on my "93 LT-1. No one around here (that's open today) has a double sided "v" belt. But they do have the siongle sided belt for the LT-1 Camaro. Will this be a good "temp" fix until I can get the one I need from NAPA on monday? (hurricane permitting)

I don't think it will fit. Don't we have different compessors? And there is a sticker on the shroud saying "warning use correct double sided v belt" so just be safe and wait to get the right belt.

Ray is correct... the 92 and e93s require the double sided serp belt.
contact carfan18 for a quote on part price. I have had a chevy dealer deny I needed a double sided serp for my 92!!!!! morons... and no, Goodyear does not list the correct belt!!!
The reason for the difference is in the idler pullys. the belt passes under them, and they are grooved!!!
buy 2.... you never know...
