219 cam in non-roller block
I'm looking into a 219 cam for an 85 model, but I'm unsure of what timing chain to use with a stepped nose cam and the lack of a factory thrust plate on the non roller block. Would I get a timing chain from an LT-1 and use a thrust button? (I know nothing about the LT-1 so that may not even be possible)
I'm running a retrofit roller now (Comp 218/224 .498/.502 on 110 LSA). Mods are Super Ram, Dart 200cc's 2.02, FL Headers, dual exhaust, stock bottom end.
Should I consider bigger than the 219 because of the heads (looking for maximum effort)? I'm using Comp 987 springs.

Of course, if the gains would be minimal from what I have now, I am going to stay with what I've got.
