Chassis bushings
I've read a number of threads about replacing chassis busshings. How do you know they need to be replaced? Any particular noises or handling problems? Do they crack or fall out?

The bushings likely won't fall out, but you can just look at them. See if they're particularly hard, or worn looking. A good example is the rear spring bushing, it gets flattened eventually to nearly nothing.
If your car has a lot of miles on it, it wouldn't hurt to replace the bushings.

Also look to see if oil has gotten on any of the bushings - particularly the ones directly under the diff. Oil seems to deteriorate the stock bushings really quickly. This is why I had to replace mine with Energy Suspension poly bushings.
