which C4 do you have.. LT1? or L98?
The magnaflow cat-back for the LT1 is not a complete cat back, it's just muffler extersions, mufflers and tail-pipes. You have to cut off the rear portion of the stock exhaust, and clamp/weld these on.
For the L98, the magnaflow system is a direct replacement.
As for which is better.....flip a coin....they both sound better than the stock exhaust.

We have one guy that couldn't stand the reasonance and another that love them. You are going to all sorts of opinions in this issue. I asked my Vette mechanic about this and here's the advice he gave me:
Contact a local Corvette club and listen to and ride with guys that have various exhaust systems to see how they sound. Your REALLY not going to know if a particular system is right for you in terms of reasonance until you do.

I installed a magnaflow cat-back system on my '90 L98 automatic, it looks great I and love the sound under power. I don't love the resonance at low RPMs so I shift to a lower gear when the resonance gets too bothersome.
Has anyone solved the problem with a crossover pipe?

Hey thanks guys for the info!
Sorry i did not mention what engine i have, its an LT1. (automatic)
The car is all stock right now and i was looking to do some mods to get a little more Hp out of it.
Any suggestions?
