help! new vette owner ac question
My friend has joined the C4 ranks with a very nice 90 coupe. When he starts it up the ac is working,but, is only blowing on the drivers feet. If he pulls the fuse(which is not blown} and replugs it in then the fans are blowing thru all dash vents. If he turns the car off and restarts it sometimes it will work properly, but most of the time he has to do the fuse thing. any ideas? :confused:

hey jim, could you do me the favor of letting me know if someone responds to this post, i think i may have the same problem....which fuse is he pulling to make it work, i want to try it....mine just blows on the feet period....nothing through the dash.

Logans 90 blows cold air on his feet, with the vette running he pulls and replaces the AC fuse in the fuse panel. While the fuse is out the AC stops. when the fuse is replaced the cold air blows out of the dash vents as it should.
I was showing Logan the Forum and bragging about how most problems could be solved by someone on the Forum. Maybe this weekend more will have time to read this post and help. When he gets it fixed I will send you a message
