The C4 Corvette uses either a Dana 36 ICA differential or a Dana 44 ICA differential. The 44 was used in all manual transmission cars starting with 1985. It sounds as though you have the Dana 36 which was used in all the C4 automatic transmission cars.
Neither model rear end has a "stock ratio". There are different standard and optional ratios installed based on the year, the transmission, and sometimes the body style of the car. While you are draining the oil (you DO have the rear cover off, right?) count the teeth on the ring gear and on the pinion. The numbers you come up with will be stamped onto the ring gear for conformation. Divide the number of ring gear teeth by the number of pinion teeth to determine the gear ratio.
