I'm don't have one, but from everything I have read here on the forum you should be thinking Mcleod Street twin. It will need some minor grinding on the bell housing for clearance.
how long can you wait for an answer? *grin*
my project 383 should be back together by end of month.. i bought a new valeo clutch/pressure plate setup from autozone since they have the lifetime warranty.. i don't sincerely expect this clutch to hold with slicks at a dragstrip, but my car is used for road racing courses much more than drag racing, so i opted lifetime warranty over super grip and other problems associated with aftermarket clutches..
sooner or later i'm gonna have to slap an autozone sticker on my car .. lol
valeo is the OEM manufacturer for the pressure plate.. everyone with an LT1/ZF6 car has experience with these, unless they bought their car with aftermarket stuff already installed!
Valeo is the only person who makes the pressure plates for the LT1 cars. Regardless of where you buy it, it will have Valeo printed on it and it will be the exact same pressure plate. The clutch disk is what is different from the aftermarket companies.
With 500 you will need something a little beefier unless you want it to be your weak point like I do. I prefer the clutch to slip a little versus breaking drivetrain parts. I don't really have a problem until I use the slicks and launch hard.
