valve cover mod.

I recently did an engine rebuild and used 1.6 RR with ported heads. When I went to install the valve covers they would not clear the RR's. So i took a dremel and cut out the little plastic nipples that are next to the bolt holes. Anyone else had to do this?

This is also done on the stock L98 covers.

If they are Comp Cams you will also have to dremel down the raised area where the center bolt goes thru.
