hesitation/fuel problem?
hello,sometimes when i am on the throttle from a roll in first gear(say rolling it out to 20 or 30 and flooring it)it will pull hard and then lay down like it ran out of gas then it will pick back up and accelerate on.the best way to describe it is like a slow opening 4 barrel when you have used op the primary and are waiting for the vacuum secondary spring to open.i just installed headers and a pcm's for less computer.it did it before both were installed and after.brian suggested cleaning the wires in the maf when we descreened it.they were clean so i didnt touch them.could it be a fuel pump on the way out?i also changed the fuel filter and plugs/wires with no affect on it whatsoever.low on gas/weak pump?

Have you turned the ASR off and tried? My ASR does that when I get on it.
The slightest amount of wheel spin will activate the ASR and momentarily shut you down..
