Default Which First? Paint or Weatherstripping

I want to paint my car and also change the weatherstripping. The weatherstripping on the doors are really bad.The other areas are in fairly good shape. The car is an 89 coupe.
The quetion is; Should I paint the car first , then replace the weather stripping or install the new weatherstripping before painting the car? The car will be repainted the exact same color as the original. Can anyone also recommend where to get the weatherstripping, and any removal/intallation tips would be greatly appreciated. :chevy

You should paint first. Call Jeff Kopp from superior Chevy 1-800-728-8267 his prices can not be beat & its all GM stuff.

Yep, what Ruby6spd said.....strip it, paint it, re-apply weatherstrip last. :yesnod:
