I have one on my 99% stock L98 - they are not expandable. I don't know how much more you need to expand, but if all else fails - buy - slowly and carefully heat the end you need to expand with a source of heat and make a custom fit.
Someone posted here awhile back with a company that makes some and custom but very expensive , the name escapes me but I will try and find it. I agree w/a heat gun going slow with a bar or tube from the inside to push it out a lttle at a time expand it. I have had good success using that method with hard lines, and rubber hosing to give factory appearance bends.

The power couplers are made from a hard rubber material.Felixible to a point though. I was running one for years. I actually had to shorten it due to the superram and 52mm TB I was running, about an inch if not more..
What is different with your 58mm TB that you can't get the stock accordian around it? The lips should still be the same size as the 48mm ones just with larger bores inside..
That would be it !! must be gettin old
Haven't seen you post much lately, everything get resolved and dialed in?
workin' on it . Got it dialed in well enough that my new centerforce ain't holdin'
I had the same problem with my 58mm. Since I switched to Speed Density, I am using a '92 coupler and it is more pliable and fits ok. The accordian definitely won't fit without some riggin'
The speed density "Power Coupler" for "90-91" L98's, are made out of a rubber material. It can probably be stretched enough to fit on a larger TB, maybe use a heat gun.

Hi!!
the problem is, that the lip is much bigger than stock, and i had a hard time already to get it over the stock lips...
therefore i think its not possible to get the stock accordeon over it...
I posted here a couple of months ago asking the same question.Alot of members came back saying they had the same problem and to warm the end of the snorkel with some nearly boiling water or a hair drier to soften the end.
I used both, though it would no-way fit at first, went on in the end though after wrestling with it for ages.Fits way too tight though.
When I had the original air intake system and first upgraded to the BBK 52, I also found my stock "flex" would just not work, no way. At a glance you could see they were the exact same diameter opening. I bought the aftermarket smooth hi-performance coupler, heated in warm water, used the hair dryer and after what seemed like an eternity it finally went on......... Not sure that the 58 is bigger externally than the 52 but you might want to call the folks at BBK ?
Hang in there, the aftermarket hose should go on with twisting and persuasion
