Help with Bosch mystery module
Hi folks,
I have a 1990 coupe and there is a Bosch sensor/module mounted directly below the radio. Does anyone know what this is for? It is about 2" long, and 1" tall/wide. It has three wires connecting to the front side (as you are looking at it). Bosch part # 0 265 005 101

It is the acceleration monitor. I thought it was used for the radio to turn itself up when at high speed. The outer ring around the volume control has three positions, off, low and high. High is for running with the top off.
