Default Dynomax Headers?

Anyone ever tried the Dynomax Ceramic Coated headers? They're about $200 less than the Hookers, but if they're crap, I won't bother. It's almost time for me to put all of my money into the engine, and I'd like to do it right the first time.

I'd prefer to go with the Hooker headers, but I also know 0 about the Dynomax headers. If I hear good things, I may consider changing my mind =)

I was not aware that Dynomax made headers for the C4, and I looked at all the manufacturers last year when deciding on mine.

Supply a part # for us.

Remember the old saying, "You get what you pay for". I definately wouldn't cheap out in the area of headers. Go with the Hookers and be done with it. Look at it as an investment in peace of mind. By the way, Hooker headers are what I'm installing on my '85. Enjoy your car!

I must have been looking @ the wrong part last night

It was late and I was tired =P

So I guess I'll toss that theory, because I can't find whichever I was looking at last night. Oh well! I'll go with the Hookers, as I wanted to

I need their Y-Pipe, but I can't seem to find it with a cutout for the Oxygen Sensor. Does anyone know if I can find a Y-Pipe with this in it or if the Hooker Super Comps have the O2 Sensor cutout already with it?

I had to weld a O2 bung into my 2151's, you want the O2 close to the engine.

An O2 bung cost @ $20 if I remember correctly.

Buy uncoated Hookers, weld in the bung, then have them coated,
or not.

Sounds good!

What size O2 bung do I need for the stock-sized O2 sensor?

My 2151's came with a bung in #7.

Yours may also.
Just thought I would mention it.
