Thanks for noticing
I've pretty much gone through the car. I just finished up the rebuild on the motor. 10.5 to 1 forged pistons, mild port work on the heads from the machine shop, Crane cam, ported and port matched lower intake, port matched stock runners and ported plenum. Did the T/B bypass and pulled all the emissions equip from the port matched stock exhaust manifolds. The exhaust gases leave through gutted cats to the Borla cat-back y-pipe and mufflers. The cam that I got is really made for a mini-ram, but I have to wait on that till I can afford it:p:
I've got a 2600 stall converter spinning a built 700R4. The rear gears have been changed to a set of 3.73 to 1s. I had 4.09s in there, but I couldn't live with the high cruising RPMs and I could never get the rear end to hook.
I get alot of comments on the rims, but usually they are the negative type. Some of my buddies tell me that they are "pimp" looking, but I really like them. I dunno, what do you think? They were a smokin' deal when I got them, and I REALLY hate the stock rims. 17 X 9.5 with the correct offset for the early C4s. All four rims plus two tires, only cost me $400!! So I couldn't pass it up. The color matches the interior and the top, I think.
Thanks again for noticing, and now tell me about yours:D and maybe some pics?

I'm Ray and i live in Fort Worth but really a Cajun from South Louisana. I bought my 88 vette after my ex wife kicked me out, lol, with approx $1500 per month for child support i kinda thought it would be better to buy a nice used vette. Well i've replaced the top and all the leather inside. I pulled the wheels ( i don't like the stock wheels either ) and tires and put on new chrome ZR1 wheels and some BFG tires. The car only had 60k on it so i have added 1.6 roller rockers on the intake valves and the 1.5's on the exhaust. The pletumn and SLP simiese runners have been port matched and added a 52mm TB. Added different valve covers the polished aluminum ones along with the ajustable fuel pressure regulator. Added the DRM bias spring to the master cyl and put in a higher voltage coil. It has a cat back system from Borla and thats all for the exhaust. Changed the cooling system to where both fans kick on at 204 and kick off at 178.O yes i added a cold air induction system also. I've not figured out how to add a pic to this site yet probably because of our firewall here at work but will send a pic to your e-mail address if you'd like. I'm about ready to pull the intake and heads and have them matched to each other and mabe change the cam to a ZZ9 from TPIS. I live by Craig Marcho so i will get him to do the chip for me been moving so haven't had the chance to talk to Craig lately but have met him and he's a very nice person. Well as for your wheels i don't think they look bad at all they match pretty good with the DRM color of the car..Ray
