Default Seat cushion removal

I am going to have to do some serious work on the right side dash underneath. How can I at least take off the seat cushion on a '91? TIA

On my '94, all you have to do is reach under the center of the seat and release a clip. It is really easy to do, and if you feel around you will find it.

It may be easier and more comfortable to remove the whole seat.It is only four nuts, and a couple wire connectors. Gives you more room to work, just throw the mat over the studs that hold the seat down so they don;t dig into your back while you stand on your head to work under the dash.

In the center of the seat coushin under the front you will see a thin metal piece, just push it back when puhsing down on the coushin.
If you pull the seat make sure you disconect all electrical and put the seat in the full up and foward possession.I would reinstall the seat frame nuts over the bolts so you don't run yourself through.

I made a photo doc of my seat cushion replacement. The pics might help you see what you are after.

Good write up on the seat backs. I'm going to have to do that one of these days. Got a deal on covers/foam last year but I've been reluctant as my old ones seem to have decided they are going to hang in there. Maybe I just need to drive it more??
