Need new windsheld/clutch, Now engine is KNOCKING!
This is NOT my week. First my front windsheld gets shot out($100 deductable). Then my clutch starts to get really bad, so I bought a new one and will have it installed with the windsheld this weekend(~$430 performance clutch, ~$60 2-day shipping, ~$580 instillation, I wish I could install it myself, but don't have the know how or the tools). Now I start up my vette this morning and there is a knocking coming from the right half of the motor. I have never heard this before and it is fairly loud. Any suggestion on what this is. Might as well shell out some more $$ while I'm at it. Oh well though, i didn't buy a vette expecting it to be cheap.

That sucks! :(
Have them pull your oil pan while they are replacing the clutch and check the rod bearings. My car made a knocking noise and it turned out to be rod bearings.....
