Strut Rod Eye Diameter
Getting ready to re-do the rear suspension bushings on my '85 Z51. I am trying to determine if the rear strut rod eye diameter is the same on each end, or different to order the correct bushings (no luck with forum search). With the suspension together on the car, the outside dimensions of the strut rod looks the same at the diff and knuckle ends, but I cannot tell if the inner "eye" diameter is the same for each end. Before a tear down to tell for sure, I was wondering if enyone had the inside scoop. Thanks.

Just started doing the same on my 84. Took one off to check out this same question. Both ends were the same. Make sure you mark the camber adjusters to a spot on the mount so you can get it back close. You'll still need a rear end align, but if you don't get it done immeadiatly at least it'll be close.
